Customer Service

Have questions about your monthly bill?  Please contact our Customer Service Department. Requests sent Monday through Thursday, excluding Federal Holidays, will receive a response within 48 hours.

We offer a variety of service programs to benefit the needs of our members.

  • HOLSTON SMART LINE

    An interactive text service that allows members to receive alerts, reminders and past due notifications, make payments and much more.  Simply text join to 352667 to sign up today.

  • EXPRESS PAY KIOSK  

    Conveniently located at Rogersville, Russellville and Church Hill, Holston offers kiosks that accept secure payments night or day.

  • BUDGET BILLING

    Pay your electric bill in 11 equal payments.  Only residential accounts who have maintained service at the requested location for a minimum of twelve months are eligible to apply.  Member accounts must be current to participate.  Sign up January through March.

  • BANK DRAFT PAYMENT PLAN

    You can have the amount of your electric bill automatically drafted from your checking account.

  • AUTO PAY

    Schedule one-time or recurring automated payments on a date of choice prior to the bill due date.

  • MOBILE APP

    Download the Holston Electric Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play on your phone today to pay your bill, view history and much more.

  • ONLINE BILL PAY

    View your bill or you can pay online with an e-check or credit card payment.

  • PROGRAMS

    A variety of programs about your energy use and safety are available for your civic, school or other group meeting.

  • THE TENNESSEE MAGAZINE

    Your source of information about what's happening to and for Holston Electric Cooperative members. 

  • ENERGY LITERATURE

    We have a wealth of information about energy and its use.

  • MEETING ROOMS

    The offices in Rogersville and Church Hill have meeting rooms available for public use. Reservations are required.

  • CALL US BEFORE YOU BUILD

    Get all the details about your electric service by calling (423) 272-8821.

  • E-BILL

    Sign up today for Paperless Billing.

  • PROJECT HELP

    Help those in need stay warm this winter by donating a dollar or more per month.

TVA provides regulatory oversight for your local power company’s rates and service practice policies.

If you have an issue or complaint that you have not been able to resolve by following all processes and procedures as required within Holston Electric Cooperative's Service Practice Policies, TVA’s Complaint Resolution Process may be able to help.

There are three ways to begin the process:
